In reading and watching all the latest international news it is disconcerting to see that we are still fighting the same war that has raged for centuries. I speak of this so-called holy war between the "crusaders" and the muslims. It has been raging for centuries, this struggle of religions. The Muslim world (extremists that is) now embraces the notion that they are fighting the western world or crusaders for their God..Allah. The country that they are fighting in this era is the U.S. which is working with Israel much like the Crusaders of the past. The similarities are somewhat sparse but they are similarities nonetheless. In this era of information and democracy we are still engaging in the same struggle which mankind has been trying to repair for centuries. We have evolved with technology but we somehow are still intertwined with the same nature of our predecessors. Could it be that the more we try to solve this problem the more that human nature causes history to repeat itself? I was lost in thought on this one and I thought I would share it...Feel free to disagree.
