Vanity can be looked at in a dictionary as; excessive pride in one's appearance or accomplishments; conceit. What is this trait which flows through everyone’s veins? We are all guilty of it at least once in our lifetime we are all capable of feeling more important than another person. It’s in advertising and in movies, books, in every person we see daily. That vision of self over others is instilled since birth like machines being programmed to do tireless work. To define vanity one must ...

Everyone, that is a broad term meaning all humanity, we all have one thing in common. Beautiful women, the strongest man, the most intelligent scholar, all have one thing in common. This convergent trait is death. It is the one thing that no one including the fastest human, can escape. What if death was no longer a fear, a certainty, and an eventual embrace of our anticipation? Needless to say the advancement of medical science is synchronous with that of emerging technology. Treatments...

This will be my 9th post since I joined the ranks of the intellectual virtual community of Joeuser.com. This will be a detachment of the style that I usually implement in most of my articles. This will be about politics which I have been studying so feverently as of late. The actual article I am writing will be about the presidency of George Bush from a factual and documented perspective. I will lean to neither left or right wing philosophy, but merely try to give a scope of what informat...

I just found out that the F.C.C and F.B.I. want to have the ability to tap into internet whenever they'd like. "A far-reaching proposal from the FBI, made public Friday, would require all broadband Internet providers, including cable modem and DSL companies, to rewire their networks to support easy wiretapping by police." http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/4515410/ So far let us see what the government has in their sights. Radio Indecency: so far a couple of shows have been taken off the ai...

This is the information age. Technology is advancing much faster than morals and ethics. Most people don't know where to stand on the capabilities that humanity has at our disposal. I for one think that the human race should not be reserved when it comes to advancement, making life for all people on Earth better through technology. If there is no other greater purpose for our existence than why not try to better our species, isn't that the essential goal of evolution? On to the topic ...

Looking for upcoming movie trailer as I oft do out of mere boredom I stumbled upon this "I robot now" website http://irobotnow.com/index.php It's a pretty decent website but it so vague it makes it somewhat interesting does anyone know what this is all about? I mean I know its an upcoming movie but the website makes it look like it's an actual product. Whats weird it sort of a window to the future I know that Isaac Asimov wrote some books on this but what's the movie all about anyway ...

This is the information era the 21st century where I can communicate whenever I want with people all the way on the other side of the planet instantaneous. The globalization of commerce, industry, politics, and many more aspects of everyday life will only increase. With all that said what will the future of languages become? English is not seen as the future dominant language anymore and actual current predictions state that there will be more multi-lingual people in the near future. I can...

I love reading and watching new technology that is introduced. Since the year 2000 I have noticed that almost every single day someone somewhere invents something extraordinary. It is amazing how far human kind has come in the last 20 years. The advent of the microchip revolutionized the world. I was watching this tv show last night on the science channel called war 2020. They exhibit new technologies that would be used as military applications. It was varied and imaginative from Plama p...

As the two current articles that I have posted really only have to do with my own self analyzing and questions that dwell within my own mind this will be sort of a detachment of that since I am a little outraged with what is currently developing within the media politics and basically every aspect of life. When I was driving to work this morning I turn on the radio to ofcourse listen to my favorite morning program Howard Stern. My residence is in orlando and clear channel is the provider of...

This is a short analysis I just did after reading a good article on nature vs. nurture. What is the ratio of genetic to environmental influences in understanding the source and expression of various biological and behavioral characteristics? This is the essence of the nature versus nurture debate. I got my black hair from my mother and my skin tone from my father. While it's clear that physical characteristics are hereditary, the genetic waters get a bit murkier when it come's an individ...

I am a new to this website but what I have noticed of everything that everyone shares is the fact we all have different opinions. On a larger scale all countries have different opinions. There is something that I ponder every once in a while. What if the world was under one government. One global order under which all countries would unite. Could it work? Would it work? Is humankind capable of such a feat? The world is already becoming a global economy. Communication has become complete...
